Digital Vision Academy

Got a child interested in photography or videography? Digital Vision Academy Summer Camp is the place to be. This summer we will be conducting a camp for kids grades 6-9. The half day program will run from 8am-12 noon and will cover photography or videography. Kids will learn about the art form, equipment and techniques. Each session is a week long. For the full day program, 8am-4pm, the morning session will cover the same information but the afternoons will cover teen life skills. This will include: goal setting, financial literacy, etiquette and other social skills.

  • Introduction to Digital Video Editing and Video Editing

Life Skills

  • Table manners for informal and formal dining
  • Proper attire in various settings
  • Grooming
  • Gift giving and receiving
  • Financial Literacy
  • Meet and greet essentials
  • Proper, safe use of technology
  • Proper, safe use of social networking
  • Developing effective conversational skills
  • Dealing with bullying
  • Saying no in the face of peer pressure

Photography students should bring a camera to class is available but this is not a requirement. A limited number of cameras are available for in-class use. Full day students should bring a lunch and an afternoon snack.
